I’m always lamenting that there are few realistic role modes for women over 40, it seems like most women in the media try to look and dress much younger than they are. So, I decided to list some criteria for what makes a good role model for older women and here’s what I came up with:
1. Dress with personal style in clothing that looks up-to-date
2. Take advantage of their best assets
3. Strive to look attractive, not younger
Armed with these requirements, I took to the web–and surprise! I found lots of women whom fit into this paradigm. And to top it off, most were into their 50s and 60s!
In future posts I’ll share my list of good role models for over 40s and I’d love to hear your comments!
